I heard that its good for the eyes if you play video games on a smaller tv. Is there any reasoning behind this statement.

It doesn’t matter. What matters is the time. If you play forever than it will effect your eyes regardless of the screen size. I suggest playing for a maximum of three hours before taking a 5 or 10 minute break. Keeps your neck and hands from getting sore, too.

okay, i have a 22″ standard t.v for my bed room and i play my xbox on that and that doesn’t hurt my eyes as much if i play on a 32″.
distance from you and the TV matters a lot. I play better on a small TV because i can focus all over the screen when i play on a 3″ at my friends house i need to consentrate all over the place.
the bigger the tv is the farther away you need to be and plus you wont have that giant bright light in your face right?

as long as your not too close to the tv any size is good. I play on my 19 inch monitor and play about 3 feet away and when I play on the 42 inch, I have to be further cause it hurts my eyes. But when I want to play competitively I play on the smaller tv cause my eyes don’t have to move as much to see things occuring in the game

    I heard exactly the opposite.
But i think both is alright as long as you keep a certain distance to the screen.
