and i would go with a samsung or sony lcd.
sharp has some very great for the price lcd’s as well.

HDTV is a format. Plasma is a way of displaying that format.
You also have LCD, then you have projection screens.
They are all HDTV….But do not go for anything less than 1080P
and size does not always matter, but I would go for at least 50 inch. But here is where size does not matter, a 62inch projection screen is not better than a 50 inch LCD screen.
It can be confusing and I am not explaining it right, but I think stick with at least 50 inch, go for either LCD or Plasma,
check the pricing, the pros’s and con’s, but don’t listen to the
salesman, he or she will push what ever they have to get out the door. Do some research. AVS forum is a good start.
