I want to get an xbox 360 but i dont have an hdtv. I have av cables and s cable hook up. Can i use either one of those to hook up my 360? Please help i am trying to find out info before i buy it tomorrow.
Yes. you can use both of those TYPES. although the Xbox requires a specil connection in the back..
dont worry all Xbox360 consols come with Componet cables that are both HD and Standered. It will work fine. you can also buy adapters for using S cable
And just a reminder. Make sure to buy and Xbox360 preium with the HDMI, it has the heat “dumpers” so it dosnt red ring.
Happy buying.
In my bedroom, I have an old Sony 27 in. 480i standard definition set with S-video output and if you buy the S-video cable separately, it will definitely provide a clearer picture. My living room tv is a Phillips/Magnavox 27 in. 480i set and it actually has component outputs and a S-video output. This picture looks cleaner with component cables, even in standard def. But yeah, S-video will definitely provide a cleaner picture.
