According to Antennaweb.org , I’m no more than 5 miles from the antenna towers for getting 8 HDTV channels and only 1.4 miles from getting half of those. I bought the cheapest indoor HDTV antenna that I could find but I figured anything should work since I live close. I think I have it pointed in the right direction too. I pick up stations on channels I thought would be Digital but they are still in fuzzy Analog.

I bought a Polaroid HDTV recently but it was display stock. The people at the shop couldn’t find the remote or the manual so I’ve been trying to figure it out by myself but I can’t get HD channels to work. I was thinking I may need a set top box to get it. Also, if anyone knows where I can get the remote for it, please don’t hesitate to tell me (preferably Australian stores or online stores). I’ve tried a universal one and it doesn’t work.
Hello answers community. My outdated tv has recently broke and I’ve had to face the fact that I need to upgrade to an HDTV. Unfortunately, me and my family aren’t knowledgable on this area of electronics.
I have been told that 1080p will be broadcast eventually, but I don’t understand why a better tv can pick up lower signals of HD. Is it just a matter of compatibility? Or can it really work and people did not want to tell me?
