Difference Between 1080i And 1080p On A Hdtv?

I currently own a hdtv that has a max res. Of 1080i, i play alot of games on my consoles and watch a few bluerays. If i were to buy a 1080p tv would i notice a big difference? Or should i keep my 1080i tv?

What Is The Difference Between A Tv That Says Hdtv And Hdtv Ready?

basically, An HDTV ready tv means that you can watch HDTV right when you hook it up. The HDTV is saying that it has the capabilities to handle HDTV programs movies, etc.

Hi Is There Any Difference Between Silver Or Gold Hd Av Components Cables For Hdtv?

Hi I am using silver HD AV components cables for my Nintendo Wii. My buddy he says that is better to use gold HD AV components because there better then the silver ones. Is that true? Thank you & I use the cable to get 480P.
