How Do I Connect My Laptot To My Hdtv Using A Vga Cable That I Have Plugged In Laptop And Rgb In The Tv???

so far i went to display properties settings and set up the 2 monitors then checked the box that says extend my windows desktop onto this monitor. only the desktop wallpaper gor transferred to the tv. i dont see any icons nor do i see the mouse on the tv????

Ok So I Got A Ps3 And An Hdmi Cord Plus Hdtv Well My Hdtv Doesnt Have An Hdmi Output But I Have A Direct Tv?

box that has an hdmi output slot so i’ve already plugged the hdmi cord into the ps3 to the direct tv box and tried to change the resolution so i can play games in 1080i but no diff still says 420…any help or advice?

If I Connect The Vga Hd Av To My Hdtv/monitor Will It Have Sound?

I’m planning on buying a VGA HD AV to connect my xbox 360 to my HDTV or PC’s Monitor. What i need to know is if i connect this to my HDTV/PC’s Monitor will the VGA HD AV cable produce sound?(i know that it have picture)?
