i have one of the new macbook pros. i also have a fairly new phillips hdtv. i hooked a blue computer cord up to the laptop adapter and hooked it into the tv in the slot. can anyone tell me how to make it show up on the tv. it says on the PC screen that i need to put the computer display on 1920×1080 but when i go to display the highest one is 1440×900. is there any way to fix this?
I’m trying to get the output from my Macbook pro’s DVI (or VGA with the adaptor) into my HD CRT’s component input. It has no HDMI. I’ve seen a few cables and adaptors but they said ATI video card only and I think I have a Nvidia. And if it is possible, what kind of resolution will I get?
I have a mini adaptor and a HDMI DVI adaptor and it’s all hooked together but only the picture set on my computer’s desktop will display. For instance, if I were to open safari, the screen would still stay on the picture of my desktop instead of safari. Somebody please help – I’m sooo excited for this to work!
