How Connect A Panasonic Cf-48 Lap Top To Onkyo Ht-r550 Home Theater And A Sanyo Dp42647 42″ Hdtv?

Your laptop looks like it has Optical TosLink audio out so you can get a Digital Optical TosLink Cable from CableTrain.com for 4 bucks, and connect that from your laptop to the Onkyo receiver. You wont get audio from your TV, but your reciever will provide the audio you need from your laptop.

Does It Matter Whether I Connect The Hdmi Cables To The Home Theater Receiver Or The Hdtv First?

January 21st, 2010 by Elextron | 1 Comment | Filed in HDTV

I want to connect all of my devices to the TV first and then connect the TV to the receiver so that I don’t always have to have the receiver on to watch TV or movies. Will I lose sound quality if I connect the HDMI cables in this way? Are there any other reasons I shouldn’t connect them this way?

How Can I Connect An Hdtv, And Xbox, A Home Theater In A Box, And A Hd Digital Cable Box?

October 22nd, 2009 by Elextron | 3 Comments | Filed in HDTV

I have an Olevia 37 LCD TV, a regular Xbox, an Emerson Home Theater, and a Motorola HD DVR cable Box. How can I connect them or where can I find a connection diagram, that tells me how. I have an HDMI cable, an A/V Component (for audio and video) and A/V Composite cables. I would like it that everything can run thru my home theater speakers. Note that the home theater is also a dvd player and has two composite in, one out, and only one components out.
